Question : Is there a bar coding, order generating system, for permanent showrooms and temporary shows?
Answer : Yes, RepTime Showroom has been developed in order to use a bar coding, order generating system, to interface with the RepTime system.
     
Question : Can you convert a manufacturer's catalog into the RepTime format for purposes of order generation?
Answer : Yes. In the next RepTime update this new added feature will be released. This will allow you to automatically import catalogs from an Excel file.
     
Question : Can RepTime accept invoices, commissions, and chargebacks directly from a manufacturer? Does this data need to be in a special format?
Answer : Yes, RepTime Automation will be released and enable you to electronically receive invoices and commissions directly into your RepTime database. This will be a tremendous time saver in the input process.
     
Question : If I purchase a 3 salesperson version of RepTime can I upgrade to a 6 salesperson version? When I upgrade, does my data remain in place?
Answer : Yes. You can upgrade for the difference in price and your data remains in place. This is true for all versions of RepTime.
     
Generating Orders
Question : Can I generate line item orders from RepTime? Can discounts be applied to an order automatically for a manufacturer and customer?
Answer : Yes and Yes. In addition, discounts can be set by item for a specific date range. You can also set up a price code for an item, and then applied to customers.
     
Question : Can I set up customers as a chain of stores? Can I duplicate an order for all stores in a chain?
Answer : Yes and Yes. When you generate an order for any member of a chain, you have the option of duplicating that order for any or all other members of that chain. You also have the choice of assigning the same PO number, auto generating a unique PO, or assigning the store's own PO.
     
Question : A customer calls and wants to duplicate their last order. Can I do this without re-entering a new order?
Answer : Yes. In RepTime you find the order that is to be duplicated, click on the Duplicate button, assign a new PO and order date, and the order is duplicated.
     
Question : Can I predefine an assortment of products for a manufacturer (i.e. best sellers, specials, etc.)?
Answer : Yes. You can create as many assortments per manufacturer as you desire. Once an assortment is placed in an order, you can add to or delete from, the line item order.
     
Hardware Requirements
Question : What type of hardware is necessary to run RepTime?
Answer : Any Windows based computer will run RepTime. However, for optimum performance and greater reliability, we recommend a computer with Windows XP (Windows XP is required for RepTime Showroom. Intel Pentium and AMD processor chips will work fine. RAM memory should be at least 128mb and higher. A minimum of a 10gb hard disk drive is required. A CDROM drive is required as well as a connection to the internet since all updates and patches are downloaded from our website.
Help System / Manual
Question : What type of documentation is provided for RepTime for Windows?
Answer : RepTime for Windows has a context-sensitive on-line Help system. This means that the operator can touch the F1 key to bring up the help topic relevant to the cursor location. The Help system is fully indexed as well. The Help system can be printed out in part or in its entirety. The user is also provided with a Manual containing complete installation instructions, as well as a tutorial. The tutorial offers lessons on all the basic functions of the RepTime for Windows system.
     
Networks
Question : Does RepTime offer a network version?
Answer : Yes. RepTime has a network version, which runs on a network in the Windows environment. Examples are: Windows 98, 2000, XP and NT 4.0 (with service pack 6).
     
Operating Systems
Question : What is the operating system necessary to run RepTime?
Answer : RepTime requires one of the following operating systems: Windows XP Home or Professional, Microsoft Vista Home Premium, Business or Ultimate.
     
Software Specifics
Question : Are there security levels for each user in RepTime?
Answer : Yes. Each user can be assigned a security level, which will determine what programs are available. Also, time of login and logout and duration of the time logged in are recorded for each user. An input summary report is available for each user as a gauge of productivity.
     
Question : Can I monitor the number of successive direct orders a salesperson receives for a customer, and manufacturer?
Answer : For each salesperson, a maximum number of direct orders for a manufacturer and customer can be set. Once the number of consecutive direct orders is reached, a warning appears. At that time the commission for that order can be re-assigned. Each time a non-direct order is entered for the same customer, manufacturer, and salesperson, the counter is set back to zero and the count begins again.
     
Question : Can I replace a salesperson in RepTime with a new one, still pay the old salesperson and get a total history of the territory under the new salesperson's name?
Answer : Yes. This is accomplished very easily using salesperson transfer. You can also realign a territory by zip codes or by selecting specific customers.
     
Question : Can I pay a salesperson a unique commission percentage for specific orders and manufacturers?
Answer : Yes. In RepTime, you can create your own order codes, for any manufacturer and salesperson, and assign a commission percentage to be paid for that code. You can also choose to pay a standard rate for all other codes and manufacturers.

Question : What is your support policy?
Answer : All support and updates are free for the first 6 months. After that an annual fee is charged to continue these services. All updates and patches are downloaded directly from our web site.
