Brief info about RepTime
Overview of RepTime
RepTime is an integrated system designed specifically for the manufacturers’ representative industry. RepTime and its components can be used to create and track orders, invoices, commissions, and credits. RepTime makes it easy to keep track of your sales, enabling you to create reports by customer, salesperson and manufacturer. RepTime also incorporates an order writing system that generates line item orders from your vendors’ catalogs.
RepTime is the most simple, cost-effective office system to write and manage orders, invoices, and commissions including organized reports that will improve your sales instantly.
Overview of Main Office & Remote User Functions
RepTime Main Office functions as the main unit within the RepTime Network. The Main Office has full controls over all orders, invoices, commissions, manufacturers, charge backs, etc.. It also serves as the main database for all company information. The Remote User, a secondary component to the main office, is capable of supplying the same controls with the benefit of being at an alternate location.
The Main Office/Remote User performs three major RepTime Functions.
1) Managing all orders created by the Associates.
2) Updating manufacturer information.
3) Running invoices & commissions.
Overview of Associate Functions
RepTime Associate is an additional component to the RepTime Main Office program. The Associate version is specifically designed for use by salespeople on the road. This program may be used to enter orders and manage customer information in their territory. This program provides maximum access to pertinent data and tools to improve the effectiveness of reps on the road, while preventing reps to view confidential company data and figures.
As an Associate, you will be initialized by the home office before you begin working in RepTime. This means that the home office will send you all data pertaining to your individual territory. Even if no customers or orders have been established, you will receive the manufacturers assigned to you, order codes, categories of customers, seasonal codes, etc.
The Associate performs four major RepTime Functions.
1. Order Entry
2. Customer Maintenance
3. Catalog Entry/Edit (Catalog entry is controlled by the Home Office, but the Associate can add or edit catalog items. The entries made by the Associate will not be sent to the Home Office unless you use the Advanced Catalog feature on the Tools menu. When the Associate is initialized by the Home Office, the Associate's catalogs will be replaced by all catalog data from the Home Office.)
4. Generation of reports relative to his or her territory.
Although many other entry and maintenance functions are controlled by the Home Office (i.e. Manufacturer Maintenance, Invoice Entry, Commission Entry, Charge back Entry, etc.), the Associate has "read only" access to the data, and can obtain reports pertinent to his or her territory.
