Steps to Network a Printer

Step 1: Locate the IP Address of the main computer that has the printer connect to it.

                Click on Start

                Then Click on Run

                In Run Type in “ipconfig”

                Take the main IP Address number. (It should be something like 192.168.X.X)

Step 2: Now go to ANY of the other computers that wants to print to that Network Printer.

                Click on Start

                Then Click on Run

                In Run Type in   //192.168.X.X     (Note: The x.x are the numbers from step 1)

                Hit Enter to open the network window.

                In the window that opens, right-click on the printer you want and Connect to it.

You should now be networked to your printer.
